simplicity - dried

simplicity - dried, originally uploaded by overmilkwood.

finally, I've decided on the photo for the scentofwater photoswap. I've kept these flowers since the birth of smallfry#2, they came in a bouquet I received back then. I dried them and they live on a dresser in my bedroom in front of an old mirror we rescued from a skip. I see them every day but rarely see them. I hope my swap partner likes this picture as much as I do...

Oh wow. It isn't just a photo of any other flower, but a photo of a flower with a significance. So sweet.

Annie~I received my photo yesterday and it is lovely and has such a centimental story to go with it! I can't tell you how excited I was to receive it, as I have looked for it every day when I come home from work. When I saw the return address, it was even more exciting! I plan on using the mail postage etc. that was on the outside of your envelope, as I especially love THE QUEEN stamps.
I will be looking for a mat/frame for my new pic this weekend, and will post it on the swap site soon =)
This was so much fun, and it was the first I have ever participated in.
Take care & God Bless~
btw....i absolutely love the other pic you were also considering =)
